Everyone remembers kindergarten and all the crafts the teacher helped us make. As winter approaches one of my favorites was the snowflake. Fold the paper in half and in half again, then cut out pieces. After that you unfold it and tada! A beautiful snowflake! It was always a mystery of how it will look until you unfolded it.

This was never lost on me as I grew up. I still wonder after unfolding the paper if my concepts and ideas had translated into the finished piece. Some flakes are merely intricate designs, while others incorporate a certain theme. In some cases the ideas behind them are less than certain. I'll let you be the judge.

All flakes are hand made one by one. Just like the ones in nature, each one is absolutely unique. Each is approximately 8 inches in diameter and mounted on a 12 x 12 inch black square. Protective frames are available. By themselves or arranged in a row on a wall, they are sure to attract attention and awe from people of all ages. But don't take my word for it.
